WELCOME TO MY BLOG
"Blog era!" she whispered to herself...
With Twitter being damaged more and more irreparably and Artstation welcoming and embracing AI Art on their platform, I felt it was finally time to try out something new. I want to give my work and words a new place, so blogging it is. It actually feels weirdly nostalgic getting back into blogging and reminds me of the old internet days when Blogspot was common and social media platforms like Twitter or Instagram just started out or have not even seen the light of the day.
This sentence lets me sound older than I really am, I swear I am not that old.
With this blog, I wish to share my love for certain games I played and give insights and tips regarding UI/UX Design for Games, more in-depth as I could possibly do on social media. With me currently just being at the start of my games career journey I would love to share the things I already learned and will learn on this path.
I will also use this space when I want to share a more in-depth look at the creation process of projects I did that may have already found their place in my portfolio, but for whom I still want to share my whole thought process in more detail.
Besides these topics, I plan on using this blog to talk a bit more about some personal thoughts and things that are on my mind. Writing always felt like one of the the most natural ways for me to share insights and thoughts. Maybe these will just be posts in which I talk about my cat or why squirrels make me feel good. Maybe I feel content enough to talk about more serious topics as well. I'm not sure yet.
I am happy about anyone that takes the time to stick around and read through the blog and for whom some entries will be useful, informative or just interesting, especially if they help to see game UI with new eyes.
